Chris de Mauny specialises in contentious patent matters across a broad range of industries with a focus on the life sciences. His work has covered medical devices, small molecules and biotechnology. He has worked on cases in the English courts up to Supreme Court level, in the European Patent Office and in arbitration. De Mauny studied natural sciences at Cambridge and qualified as a barrister before joining Bird & Bird in 2011. In 2018 de Mauny was identified as a "rising star" for patent litigation by Managing Intellectual Property.
