Dr. Stephanie Yonker is the vice president of legal at Alector in South San Francisco, California. Alector specialises in developing immuno-neurology and immuno-oncology therapeutics to treat neurodegeneration and cancer. Yonker has worked extensively in matters involving IP protection for large and small molecule pharmaceuticals as well as corporate licensing and agreement matters. Prior to her role at Alector, Yonker was associate general counsel, IP specialist at Genentech handling IP matters for large and small molecules in early stages of development through commercialisation. She also worked at the corporate law firm of Morrison and Foerster.
