Forbes founded MIS in 2011 following a decorated 10 year career as a British Army Special Duties Intelligence Officer, during which he led and implemented high risk intelligence operations in inhospitable locations.

Forbes has guided MIS from a start-up to a multi-award winning scale-up that is VC backed by best in class investors. MIS-Intel, the company’s SaaS web Portal, provides critical geospatial intelligence on natural catastrophes to the global insurance market.

Forbes has been nationally recognised by the UK honours system via a Mention in Dispatches and holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography (GIS and Climate change) from Glasgow University.
