He has 26 years’ experience in claims, in consulting and senior claims management roles for commercial and personal lines insurers. He and his team drive innovation in claims using cutting-edge technology to help insurers gain competitive advantage, and use their claims expertise to develop solutions for pricing, underwriting and reserving teams. Helm has extensive experience in developing claims strategy and optimising technical and operational claims performance. He was programme sponsor for the first large-scale implementation of Guidewire’s Claim Centre software in the UK.
