Valentina Minetti is the focus group leader for US hospitals within the Healthcare team at Beazley, where she has been working for more than 10 years, initially as a pricing actuary and then as an underwriter, taking responsibility for the US hospitals book in 2016. She has produced analyses of US and European medical malpractice claims trends and contributed a section on large loss trends in the ASHRM annual benchmarking study from 2011 to 2018. Minetti has managed actuarial teams in Italy and the UK and holds a Master’s degree in mathematics.
