Richard Chattock is CEO of the InsurTech Gateway, the world’s first authorised accelerator for insurtechs, creating a new space for entrepreneurs to develop and test new insurance products. He has 30 years of insurance and reinsurance experience in London, Brussels and Bermuda. He was CEO and founder of the Montpelier Syndicate until its sale in 2015. His experience encompasses underwriting roles in property engineering and specialty lines for AIG, AXA and Cox Syndicates at Lloyd’s. In addition to founding Montpelier Syndicate, he started several new insurance product innovations and a specialty insurance publication.
