Having spent several years as a pricing actuary, in 1993 Mike Brockman founded EMB, a consulting actuary firm. He was instrumental in developing new pricing techniques and applications to risk and demand modelling within the actuarial profession worldwide. In 2009, Brockman founded InsureTheBox, the world’s first telematics-only insurer. He then moved on to his third new venture, ThingCo, with a plan to take telematics to the next level. ThingCo has launched its new ground-breaking consumer product Theo to the B2C market and will soon be introducing Little Theo to the B2B market.
