Dr Volker Büttner is head of innovation at Generali Group. He has been working within the financial services sector for more than 12 years. Previously, he held management roles at Germany’s leading online insurer CosmosDirekt and within the global automotive division of Allianz Group. Before that, he worked for McKinsey for seven years. Büttner graduated from EBS Business School and holds a PhD from WHU.
