David Melville is chief counsel at SGO, a privately-held company based in London that comprises a family of ventures, developing and implementing tools for governments, and empowering citizens in the digital age. He is an experienced technical and strategic advisor, having worked as director and general counsel in a variety of global companies, and was responsible for managing the introduction of Argos and Freeserve to the London Stock Exchange/Nasdaq. Melville is a member of the UK Law Society’s Technology and Law Committee, and chairman and founder of UK-based charity The Transform Foundation.
