Renaud Million is the co-founder and CEO of SPIXII, a tech company dedicated to making insurance accessible and simple. After studying engineering at Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Million moved to England and finished his education with an MSc in operational research & management sciences at Lancaster University. He proceeded to serve EY London for six years, consulting insurance companies and building risk models while training for the British actuarial profession. Passionate about transforming the insurance industry, the move to start SPIXII was a natural fit.

Greenberg has held several leadership positions within the insurance industry. These 25 years of experience inspired the need to create a unique solution to tackle the main challenge that contributes to the decreasing profitability of insurance companies: fraudulent claims.

Erik Abrahamsson is the founder and CEO of Digital Fineprint. Before founding the company, he worked in strategy for Twitter in Singapore, and as a finance manager at Procter & Gamble in Switzerland. Originally from Sweden, Abrahamsson graduated as valedictorian with a BSc from King’s College London and was awarded a full scholarship for graduate studies at The University of Oxford, where he attended St. Catherine’s College.

An innovation enthusiast and authenticity ambassador, at Photocert Truppo is in charge of strategic development, customer acquisition and communications. Prior to this, she has worked in education, content editing and marketing as a freelance and for international companies across industries, from advertising to design and public administration. She holds a Master’s degree in international business communication from the University of Modena.

Harry Mylonas

Harry Mylonas is a partner at PODIS. He has more than 20 years of experience in large scale data networking projects around the globe for major telecom groups. He has always been at the frontier of applied technology, having designed probably the first MPLS network in Europe in 1999. Mylonas is one of the first in Europe to be fully certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS). His first European projects in 1992 to 1996 were delivered together with the director of PODIS, Andreas Alamanos. He is based in The Netherlands and has a BSc in physics.

Gustav Holst Stuge, CEO of InMyBag, spent three years at Google in business development and mobile e-commerce working with fintech companies. Since then he has worked with several startups in London, two as co-founder. He has a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from London Business School.

David Sumner is an accredited General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) practitioner and is actively involved leading GDPR implementations in a number of organisations. He helped design Cybus’ interactive digital training solution on GDPR.
Sumner supports Cybus Global as special advisor to JDX and VIPR on GDPR. He is a former police director of intelligence and head of criminal justice. He served on the NATO mission Resolute Support in Afghanistan as the senior police intelligence advisor and was the appointed mentor to the director general of the Afghan Police Intelligence Service. While deployed on the mission he gave expert advice to the Afghan Home Secretary on intelligence management and data security.

Jose Juan Bravo Rubio

Jose Juan Bravo Rubio set up Braven Consulting in 2010 to provide niche assurance services to the insurance industry supporting companies (both Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s) to develop and implement their ERM and Solvency II frameworks.
With more than 14 years’ experience in business, he has worked at director level establishing assurance and risk management functions across the entire insurance market. He has performed CRO roles for a diverse range of managing agencies and syndicates.
In 2014 he formed Fidentia Systems, a risk-based decision-making management solution focused on commoditising IP generation and effective knowledge-sharing for insurance companies operating in the delegated authority space.

Steve Emecz

Steve Emecz is responsible for the sales department at collectAI, part of Germany’s largest e-commerce retailer, the Otto Group. Emecz has been in e-commerce and payments for two decades in various leadership roles. He brings in a startup background from fintech as well as blue chip tech experience focusing on omni-channel and digitisation strategies. Prior to joining collectAI, he worked on mobile engagement and payments for seven years. He is a known speaker, business mentor and advisor to several businesses and has built a global social enterprise publishing business MX Publishing which supports projects in the UK and Africa.

Raphael Vullierme

Raphaël Vullierme is CEO and co-founder of Luko. In 2014, he founded GoodFood in Paris, an on-demand food delivery startup before joining forces with Rocket Internet to launch this model in Europe. Eatfirst.com raised €8 million and the team grew 120 employees in 10 months. In 2015, Vullierme took over OpenJet.com, a SAAS-enabled marketplace for private jets. In December 2016, he teamed up with Benoit Bourdel to provide home guardian AI to millions of European homes. He holds an MSc in engineering and a Master’s in entrepreneurship from HEC Paris.

Lex Tan is a founder and CEO of MotionsCloud, an insurtech company that streamlines and automates the claims processes of property and auto insurance companies with mobile, artificial intelligence and video communication technologies. MotionsCloud was founded in January 2016; since then the company has been through three insurtech accelerators backed by insurers and received an investment from an US investor. It has customers in Europe and the US. MotionsCloud was named by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Insurance 2017.

Ed Morgan

Ed Morgan is principal and managing director for Italy & Central and Eastern Europe, leading Milliman’s strategic and actuarial consulting practice across the region. In 1999 he founded Morgan Consulting, which was acquired by Milliman in 2004. Prior to this, he worked nine years for Aviva in Italy and in the UK carrying out a number of roles.
Morgan has performed actuarial consulting missions for a variety of clients, mainly major European insurers and banks. His experience includes M&A, strategy, financial reporting, Solvency II and product development. He has served on the boards of insurance companies in Italy, Greece and Luxembourg. He has written a number of actuarial papers including on Dynamic Policyholder Behaviour, Dynamic Management Actions and M&A under Solvency II. He has been involved in multiple new market entries and innovative product launches.

Charles Clarke is Praedicat’s vice president of sales and is responsible for helping Praedicat expand its influence in the insurance market and with corporate chemical companies. He has worked for well over a decade at various technology companies, leading client-facing teams and partnering with clients in the reinsurance and financial services industries, in Europe, Asia and beyond. Clarke most recently helped to build a technology start-up focusing on the agriculture sector in India and China. He has a first class Master’s degree in chemistry.

De Caux received a first in mathematics from Cambridge University before spending six years working for Lehman Brothers, both in the treasury department and on the structured finance desk where he was a director. He holds a Master’s degree in evolutionary and adaptive systems and a PhD from the University of Southampton in complex systems, specifically on agent-based models of banking systems and financial networks for regulatory purposes.

His work has spanned the world across more than 15 countries for the past ten years. Felix is presently engaged with several startups and SMEs in developing the most effective brand strategies and marketing plans. Nicholas Phair is leading the transformation of compliance within general insurance. He is the co-founder and managing director of the award-winning insurtech firm REG, which streamlines business-critical agency processes and compliance checks.
His MBA from Singapore and France at INSEAD focused on innovation and entrepreneurship and led him to consult for a number of international technology and education firms, making him an authority in leveraging technology to give firms competitive advantage. He’s passionate about eliminating repetitive, manual processes in favour of automation and enabling firms to reduce risks while increasing efficiency.

Prior to Tryg, Kaithwal held several senior leadership roles at American Express and Moody’s Analytics where he established a track record of driving organisation-wide change across large matrix structures to bring data and analytics to the boardroom and at the heart of the company’s strategy and daily operations. Steve McNickle has been responsible for EMEA business development at Sapiens DECISION since 2013. An engineer by training, he understands technology, and commits to delivering value and quality. Prior to his current position, McNickle was the vice president of sales, Europe for cVidya Networks, where he helped the company expand throughout Europe. He previously worked as a global network inventory specialist at TTI Telecom, after TTI acquired Accunet/Axarte, a network solutions company that he co-founded. He has a BSc in electrical and electronic engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.

Stewart McCulloch is head of business development at Nuvalaw. He is a solicitor who spent 25 years as a partner in a large North West of England law firm dealing with claims work, mainly in the field of bodily injury. During that period, he assisted insurers and other organisations in setting up settlement protocols with the specific aim of avoiding expensive litigation. He also worked with local courts to establish new rules designed to streamline process and reduce cost and worked with government departments in establishing cost-effective processes to support publicly funded work.

Before joining SightCall, Doyle was vice president of the global sales group for Europe at Tata Communications. He has a business degree from the University of Manchester.

Jim Duffy is the CEO of Logical Glue. He has worked professionally with digital technology for over 20 years. He has a passion for employing new technologies and innovative solutions and has spent the majority of his career in the financial services and technology industries.
In recent years, he has worked within three emerging areas of enterprise software technology: AI/machine learning, IoT and blockchain/distributed ledger technology. He believes these three domains will transform all industries over the next few years.
Before Logical Glue, Duffy was the global director of information strategy at MongoDB, a senior director of transformation at Oracle and head of information architecture at BNP Paribas Arbitrage.

Before joining Sapiens Heale spent four years working with Moody’s Analytics developing technology solutions for economic capital, stress testing (insurers & banks), Solvency II, IFRS 17/9, robo-advice, associated analytics and reporting. The previous four years were focused on developing actuarial and core life administration software and technology solutions for Oracle.
