He is a former partner at PwC and Accenture where he held several leadership roles covering business strategy, implementation of enterprise-wide transformation programmes and the exploitation of breakthrough technologies. He has written three books and has lectured extensively at a number of institutions.

Laurent Montador has been the deputy CEO at Caisse Centrale de Réassurance since 2014. He previously occupied senior positions in actuarial and underwriting management on French and international markets for major re/insurance companies. He is a member of the French Institute of Actuaries, the OECD High-Level Advisory Board on the financial management of catastrophic risks, a member of the World Forum of Cat Programs and was a lecturer at the University of Paris at Dauphine. Montador joined CCR in 2009 as director of the natural disaster and guaranty funds department. He leads the current group transformation to a leaner infrastructure in an up to date—potentially disruptive—digital environment.

Steven Haasz was appointed global COO of Axa Corporate Solutions in July 2014. He began his career in 1986 as an engineer with British Aerospace in the UK. Haasz’s insurance career began in 1989 when he joined Bacon & Woodrow. In 2002, he joined Lloyd’s of London, and in 2007, Prudential UK. In 2010 he joined Chubb Insurance Company of Europe as the COO with responsibility for European operations and IT as well as the UK underwriting renewal centre. He also had global responsibility for Chubb’s outsourced operations in India and the Czech Republic.

Elena Rasa is the chief underwriting officer of Zurich Italy, looking after actuarial, underwriting and product development. She is responsible for commercial insurance, retail all lines and direct business. Rasa joined the Generali Group in 2013 as head of global P&C, responsible for pricing and underwriting activities in retail and SME business. She has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector. From 2009 to 2012, she was deputy head of pricing and underwriting for the Allianz Group, based in Munich. Within this capacity, she was also the head of technical area in Genialloyd (a direct company of Allianz Italy).

Allianz then re-hired Sudaman to set up and head the data office for BeNeLux. His role involves data governance, data management, data architecture vision, business intelligence and reporting, advanced analytics and master data management.
